Q: How do I add my new watermark to my pictures?
A: First, you'll need a photo editing program that uses "layers" (such as Adobe Photoshop or GIMP). If you don't have one, you can download GIMP free here.
Check out my video tutorial on using GIMP to add your watermark here.
To add your watermark using GIMP:
- Open your .jpg photo.
- Edit your photo as desired.
- Open as new layer your .png watermark file.
- Drag and drop your watermark (using the Move Tool) to your desired location.
- Save as .jpg file.
Note: Your picture will probably be VERY large. You may have to resize it before adding your watermark (or else your watermark will be so small, you won't see it).
To resize your picture in GIMP:
- Open your photo in GIMP.
- Click "Image" in the photo window.
- Click "Scale Image".
- Change "Pixels" to "Inches"
- Notice that between the Width & Height and "Inches" there is a vertical chain. This chain must be connected for your photo proportions to stay the same. If the chain looks broken, click it and it will link up.
- Whichever is less (height or width), change to 3" (or whatever you decide). Then, just click in the other (height or width) window and watch as the number automatically changes to the proportionate size.
- Click "Scale"
- Apply watermark as usual.

A: Depending on the extent of your changes, no. Text and color modifications can be made at minimal costs. See the Pricing page for more details.

Q: What is Skype?
A: Skype is an internet calling service that is FREE when calls are made "Skype to Skype" (computer to computer). It can be used to call land lines for a fee. Skype allows audio-only and video calls and instant messaging. Using Skype, I can also "share" my screen with you so you can see what I'm doing on my computer. This is so helpful when you're having trouble viewing something.
Interested in signing up? Visit www.skype.com and click on Get Skype at the top. You do not have to enter any payment information to register and use Skype (computer to computer), so you never have to worry about accidentally being charged.
